When Catskill Farms moved offices, our space in Eldred, NY became the perfect creative project for a home conversion. Years ago, we transformed a modern pole-barn, a former school bus garage, into an efficient and attractive office. We added signature interior details, like barn doors, loft windows, and wood-clad walls. The modern barn is born again, this time into a loft-like house with a brand new kitchen, 2 baths, laundry, and expanded interior spaces including a 30' great room with 16' ceilings.
The home is cozy and comfortable, with radiant floors and baseboard heat, but also modern and eclectic with all the quirks and details seen in an industrial design conversion. Part SoHo loft, part rural retreat. We are swooning over the interior design potential that this barn space offers.

The garage could easily become an indoor recreation room with pool tables, a basketball court, ping-pong tables, indoor rock climbing, batting cages, etc...
