Updating Website Photos

Nothing says love more than what our homes look like after a few years of homeownership as the landscape personalization takes hold.

Farm. 25, Rhinebeck NY

We are finishing up a bunch of houses over the next few weeks so there should be some hot houses

posted on this blog so stay tuned.

So to make things super full circle I'm thinking about getting a classic car - when I first moved to Sullivan from out of the City I tuned into a 1977 Jeep Cherokee.  Super cool  Stupidly expensive to maintain and run.  This wasn't one of those 'honey, this car is in the shop a lot', this was a 'big huge disaster expense'.  I know I'm not the only person who comes up here and buys an old automobile.

But I have had my eye on this 1968 Cherry Red Chevelle convertible with a 396 under the hood.  Now, I have no idea what that means, but I know it's a really nice looking car.  Though, on my test drive, I realized the car may inspire random conversations with strangers, something I've never enjoyed.

Tell me the shot in front of this awesome house isn't a good one?  Note : Good lighting helps.  As does taste.

So then we got My Man Lucas to a little pose with spiderman sunglasses, iron man pajamas top for the 3rd straight day (since I left his clothes bag in the car that went to the shop), pants without a belt (in said clothes bag), and the sock less shoe approach - which he was at first skeptical, then embraced.

Beside the fact that the back seat had no seat belts, I wouldn't tell his mom this that his car seat was totally free forming it in the back seat MadMen style, this was one killer ride and if you are thinking about touring our homes in Sullivan County, you might just be experiencing this up close and personal.
