Barn 8 Sold (and a trip to DC, Annapolis and Baltimore)

Lucas sporting the undershirt and shades on H Street in DC.

By the Lincoln Memorial with my nephews.

Barn 8 in Olivebridge, a few miles from the Ashokan Reservoir.

2200 sq ft.  One of favorite designs, with a master bed/bath wing added on.  A lot of our most go to tricks have been influenced and informed by our collaboration with our clients.

Below, wood burning fireplace, open stairs.

Mud area to the left, open stairs, radiator, barn door, open kitchen with open shelves with salvaged barn wood on island.

Crappy day for photos with a huge storm but what can you do.

Mud rooms, when the houses are big enough, are always fun.  Here we have a school house light, salvaged ceiling, tree wall paper, a radiator and some barn doors ( and 4 turtle doves).

Powder room sports the parisian carnival wall paper and some crisp wainscoting.

And lest us not forget the deer horn barn door hardware.  Or tree branch.

Some tasteful baths.

Money shot.

Bedroom with salvaged wood accent wall.

I'm a big Abe fan and this pic below has been hung in most every house I've ever owned, and definitely the first thing in and last out on any spec house project.

For all you West Wing fans -

Early morning jog.

The Mall.

Baltimore Aquarium.

Some sailing in Annapolis never hurt anyone.  Everytime I sent this pic out I got like 3 'where's his life jacket' responses.
